Become a Community Ambassador, aka PPA

We’re excited to have you join our community - welcome to PPA. What does PPA mean? Well, PP = Plastic Patrol, and A = you, an ambassador.

Plastic Patrol started as a mission to fight plastic pollution on inland waterways from paddleboards. It’s grown rapidly throughout the world and we now operate across UK, Europe and USA through our team of recognized partners, dedicated ambassadors and programme of activities.

What is a Community Ambassador?

Our Community Ambassadors are part of a network of like-minded individuals working together to protect the environment through community action. You will motivate your local community to be part of the #PlasticPatrol movement, inspiring positive action for the environment and people.

Our Ambassadors can be involved in a number of ways:

  • Be the voice of Plastic Patrol in your local area.
  • Motivate your community to be part of the #PlasticPatrol movement.
  • Organise clean ups.
Ensure all waste collected during clean ups is logged in the Plastic Patrol app.
  • Be the main contact for volunteers in your local area.
  • Encourage businesses, schools and universities to take the Plastic Patrol Pledge to reduce single use plastic.
